Health and Safety Policy
We are so grateful to be able to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends, and our first priority continues to be the health and safety of our guests. For the safety of our friends and family, the bride and groom will be providing all guests with COVID-19 rapid tests. A negative test will be required to enter the wedding festivities. We recommend guests arrive at least 30 minutes early to avoid missing any of the fun! We look forward to celebrating safely with everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I’m fully vaccinated?
Since COVID-19 is still transmissible regardless of vaccination status, we have decided that all guests will require a negative test to enter the wedding facilities.
Do I need to wear a mask?
We will be following current state and local guidelines. At this time, there is a mask mandate for all indoor settings in the state of Illinois. As a result, you may be required to wear a mask whenever you are not eating or drinking at the event. Given our priority is the safety of all of our guests, we have decided to test everyone as an added precaution.
What kind of test will I be taking?
We will be providing nasal swap COVID-19 rapid tests similar to the at-home test kits you can purchase from your local pharmacy. You will be able to perform the test yourself with help of our on-site physicians. They are reliable, quick, and pain-free.
What will you do with my test results?
As per local and state testing guidelines, we will be required to share any positive test results with local authorities. All other test results will remain private.
What if I take a test before the event?
Given the varied nature of COVID-19 incubation time and exposure some attendees may experience before arriving at the wedding venue, you will still be required to take a test at the entrance to the wedding facilities.
Do I have to bring proof of my vaccination?
At this time we are not planning to require proof of vaccination for our guests, however, we would recommend having a photo of your vaccination card available in case state or local requirements change.
